MIKE MacCULLOCH assistant coach - #19
|
Coach "Mac" has been a member of the Everett Merchant coaching staff since 2010. In
November 2010, he was elected president of the Pacific International League.
He has coached four years at the NWAACC level, at Edmonds Community College (2010-2011)
and at Everett Community College (2006-2007). During his two seasons with EvCC, he coached
five players who would go onto sign professional contracts and 22 who went onto play baseball at
a 4-year school. He was a member of the Trojans staff that made it to the NWACC Tournament
in 2006. At Edmonds, the Tritons won the Northern Division Championship and then made an
appearance in the NWAACC Tournament in 2010.
He earned degree in marketing and a minor in sports management from the Washington State
University in 1997.
In 2002, Mike was hired as the original employee of the Everett Silvertips hockey club, where he
was responsible for the initial setup of the organization. In his current role as Director of
Marketing / Corporate Sales, he is responsible for corporate sponsorship sales and promotion. He
also develops the teams print advertising campaigns, program layouts, daily website maintenance
and game operations. The Silvertips were a finalist for the WHL Marketing / Public Relations
Award in 2005-06 and they won the award in 2009-10. Since the team's first season in 2003-04,
over 1.7 million fans have attended a Silvertips home game.
From 1997-2000, worked with the Seattle Seahawks in both their ticket department and in their
marketing / sponsorship department where he won numerous awards as a top sales performer.
The Washington State University graduate has also done work with Cougar Athletics, Football
Northwest, Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association, and the FirstSwing Foundation.
Mike and his wife, Stacey, resides in Edmonds with their daughter Molly and son Billy
