Shean was a standout basketball and baseball player at Everett High School before going on to
play college baseball at Bellevue University. He was a part of the Bellevue University NAIA
championship team in 1995. Shean also spent three years playing for the Merchants from 1993
to 1996.
Following his senior year in college, he signed with the Clarksville Coyotes (Heartland League) in
1997, where he hit .287 with 16 doubles, one triple and a pair of home runs. His 58 runs scored
led the league.
He has been a member of the Everett Merchants coaching staff since 2010 and the Everett
Community College Trojans staff since 2011.
Shean holds a Sports Management degree from Bellevue University and recently completed his
masters degree in education from the University of Washington.
Shean and his wife, Camille, have three children (Merrick, Kent and Avery)
