* Pitched in the Pacific International League in 2004 as a member of the Kirkland Kodiak
* Played one season at Bellevue Community College as a "Draft And Follow," and signed with
the Pirates prior to the 2005 MLB Draft
* In 2008, he made six starts from June 24 through July 21, posting a 1.69 ERA while going
3-1, then was placed on the disabled list after making his final start on July 21 and subsequently
underwent reconstructive elbow surgery, ending his season.
